How We Are Funded

As a Community Radio station, Radio Verulam's broadcasting licence requires it to raise funding from a variety of sources. In addition to commercial funding through advertising and sponsorship, this includes non-commercial sources such as grants from local authorities, national government schemes, charitable foundations or funders such as the Big Lottery. Radio Verulam has received a number of grants over the years and is confident of it's ability to continue to attract such funders.
