This was a very popular time in pop history when a lot of the music we know today as solid gold was in the charts due to big record sales. The pirate radio ships were slowly closing down, Commercial radio had mainly not begun in the UK. It was a popular time to buy a 45 rpm single or two and play them on a record player at home! Regular artists such as, The Beatles,The Beachboys , The stones and the Move are often featured. |

'Tracks' is more than just music, however, it is spiced with personal anecdotes, raw emotion, and tender memories. It's a 'do-it-yourself'' programme as anyone listenng can offer to chat to Elspeth about their life, their passions and their music.
