28th May  -  Rosie Marcel - otherwise known as Dr Jac Nayler in the BBC series Holby City visited the studio and talks to John about her life and work in Holby.

On 17th June, the Right Worshipful Mayor of St Albans City & District, Cllr. Aislinn Lee, talked to John Stephenson, presenter of Friday Focus about her plans for her mayoral year.

9th July -  John talks to the legendary Buddy Grecco about his life and many years he spent with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis as part of the Rat Pack.

12th February  -  Top musician Laurie Holloway talks about his life with the stars of entertainment over the last 40 years.

30th October 2009, 85 year old war veteran, Ernie Brewer, talks about his experience in the D-Day landings on June 6th 1944 and describes the lead up to the invasion.  John describes this as one of his most moving interviews.

19th Nov 2010 -  John tackles Mark Prisk MP, Minister of State for Business & Education about the need for the banks to release finance to help small business.
