How do you fancy working in radio? We’re looking for a Volunteer Manager to works as part of our operations team.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the volunteer experience and be in charge of interviewing new volunteers and matching them to roles. Your key aim will be to make sure that volunteers are happy and effective in their roles.
By working closely with core managers and the board, you will develop and grow our community of volunteers to ensure they feel a sense of ownership and empowerment. You’ll manage and coordinate our volunteer community, and also keep our volunteer compliance up to date across the organisation.
You’ll get to work with a wide range of age groups, from university students to retired adults – and everyone in between.
You’ll play a key part in developing volunteers, enable them to be involved in impactful, year-round activities and help them in volunteer programming.

Administration – including record keeping, managing online volunteer systems
Ideally you’d have these skills but we can train you :
HR experience or experience of working within a voluntary organisation
Being able to self manage and work to a procedure
Working with a wide range of age groups
