Hertfordshire Society For The Blind.

In 2015, The Hertfordshire Society for the Blind (HSB) celebrates 100 years of making a difference in the lives of visually impaired people in Hertfordshire.

Founded during the First World War in November 1915, the Society is an independent, countywide, sight-loss charity and is the only local charity providing services to blind and visually impaired people, their families and carers in the county.

The Society aims to reduce loneliness and social isolation, maintain independence and provide assistance with daily living needs, via the provision of help, support and advice.

In order to deliver its services, the Society has a long and successful track record of working with public, private and voluntary sector organisations.
