We are Old London Road Garage, a Village Garage that has been operating in the St Albans area for over 30 years. We service and carry out mechanical repairs and Bodywork to (in our humble opinion) better than Main Dealer standard on virtually every make and age of vehicle, including prestige and classic cars. We also stamp your service book.
We often repair or recondition damaged items of equipment that many larger garages expensively replace, saving our customers considerable amounts of money!
We are a Government approved MOT centre and we carry out pre-MOTs and MOTs for many local garages and mobile mechanics as well as for our own customers using the latest modern ‘state of the art’ computerised equipment.

We also offer the following services: welding to MOT standard, brake repairs, fault finding and diagnosis (engine management, ABS, airbags and electrical), air-conditioning refills & repairs, tyre, exhaust, shock absorber & battery fitting, gearbox repairs (both automatic & manual), computerised 2 & 4 wheel tracking, radio & alarm fitting & indoor hand car washing and valeting.
Our bodywork estimates are FREE & we will undertake any job no matter how large or small.
Our entire workshop staff; are enthusiastic, dedicated and dealer trained in many makes of vehicle and each have on average over 32 years motor trade experience.
We also offer a FREE local vehicle collection & delivery service or a FREE loan car (booked in advance).
We offer all of your old parts for you to inspect, so that you can see that the work has indeed been carried out as charged and was necessary.
We are open all day 8am till late, Monday to Saturday.
