We are looking for someone who understands a bit about PCs and the internet, who lives in St Albans and can go in to our studios to fix things like PCs, software and our internet connections when things go wrong.

You don’t need to be an IT guru but it would be good if you know the difference between USB and Ethernet for example.

You will work with our team of volunteers to diagnose and fix network and PC issues.

Ideally you will live within St Albans itself, and be available daytimes if needed because quite a lot of network issues require presence on site at our studios.

 

Typical time needed : 2 to 4 hours most weeks

Essential skills :

PC literacy

Ideally you’d have these skills but we can train you :

Understanding of networks
